Road tripping Namibia, where to rent a car?

Guys, I've been dreaming about Namibia for years and finally pulling the trigger this fall. Planning to hit Sossusvlei, drive through Etosha and see where the road takes me from there. Obviously I need my own wheels for a trip like that, no way around it. Anyone know where to sort out a car rental over there?

Honestly people always underestimate how much prep a trip like that actually needs, Namibia isn't somewhere you just wing it and hope for the best. The roads outside the main towns get pretty wild, a standard sedan is going to have a bad time on most of the routes worth doing, so 4x4 is really the way to go.

There's something about long drives through completely empty landscapes that either hooks you for life or scares you off forever, and Namibia is about as empty as it gets out there.
