Sword of Ares operates on a 6×5 scatter‑pays engine where wins form when 8+ matching symbols land anywhere on the grid, replacing fixed paylines with a cluster‑style payout structure that scales at 8–9, 10–11, and 12–30 symbols in view. This pays‑anywhere model increases hit frequency on small clusters while reserving larger payouts for dense symbol concentrations, and it pairs directly with the Tumble mechanic so every winning set explodes and allows new symbols to cascade down until no further 8+ matches appear. The absence of traditional Wilds shifts emphasis onto symbol density and cascade chains, making each spin’s outcome heavily dependent on how many matching low and mid symbols can be gathered in a single tumble sequence rather than on line‑based alignment.
